Yet again, a wonderful warm weekend in every way. The setting is a dream. It was a fantastic healing retreat near Hay on Wye. We were able to share our work and experience of writing. I find writing is a lonely business but this opportunity to share with others was so welcome. I was able to overcome a block and started to write again. I hope to keep up the momentum.

Eating fruit, and herbs from the beautiful garden we were welcomed with a feast of globe artichokes and ate such healthy food throughout.

I enjoyed using the different spaces - the Stupa, round house, conservatory and my dear little bedroom. I am so grateful for this annual retreat. Looki…

Had a great time – good company generous with their experience and feedback. The gardens provided an inspiring backdrop for some much needed peaceful, creative reflection. Looking forward to visiting again!

Wow I learned so much as well as (literally) chilling out! From the inside story of screenwriting for BBC from a pro who has been doing it for years, to insights that mountaineering can be a journey into the soul as well as into the death zone. More in a few relaxing hours than days of powerpoint presentations online or IRL - it's the individual exchange and skill that makes the difference. Now to put some of that inspiration onto the page! 😊
